Genre and Target Audience.
Our film is a romantic film, we will represent this by filming an iconic scene from a romantic film which is the chace film, the only thing we need to be careful about is getting the film confused with a rom com because both feature simular scenes in typical films.
Our Target audience is young females (teenage) to females aged 35. This is because females of this age range are looking for love and are more likely to be single as they haven't settled down with a patner so they can identify with trying to make a relationship work.
We are aiming for a slightly younger range of the audience by having young actors who are also teenagers, even though they could represent an older generation of people (20 - 25).

Scene 2; Blocking and Planning scene 2.
Blocking scenes.
We have blocked our scenes and made a basic plan to follow, obviously this may differ slightly in our actual filming if it doesn't work.
Shot 1:
Medium - Long shot.
Hayden is seen running away from rebecca's position.
Rebecca is in the same position, shit shot ends when Hayden is halfway between rebecca and the flower stall.
Shot 2:
Close up of Flowers, medium of Hayden.
This shot is difficult because we need to be close up to the flowers but also still have Rebecca and Hayden in the Frame.
We don't want this scene to feel over crowded as the film has a light hearted feel and overcrowding a frame i think will effect the shot.
Hayden continues to run, the flowers position will be on the right hand side of the frame and Hayden will be in the middle of the frame, as Hayden runs to the flowers he picks them up and the continues past the camera, Rebecca will be standing infront of the fountain like in the last scene but will be in the distance. This is to show the developement of the scene from a slow paced 'normal' chat at the market to a fast upbeat "will he get there" moment.
Shot 3:
Long shot.
Shot 3 is in a simular position to the previous shot but set further back so you can see Hayden running from the Flower stall after picking up the flowers and continuing his chase scene.
Hayden will run out into the road and the turn to the cameras left.
The camera movement will pan to follow him as he turns.
Shot 4:
Long shot.
The Camera is then moved to the opposite side of the street further left of the previous position.
It follows Hayden from where the previous shot left off as he continues down the street.
It also pans to follow him but doesn't move asfar.
Shot 5:
Long shot.
This soht is the last of this scene.
It is again to the left at the end of the road and shows Hayden running from the previous shot around a corner and down a street.
Hayden is seen running in to the distance.
End scene.

Scene one; blocking and planning scene.
Blocking scenes.
We have blocked our scenes and made a basic plan to follow, obviously this may differ slightly in our actual filming if it doesn't work.
Scene one:
Long shot.
Panning - following actors walking.
First shot -
Long shot.
Panning - following actors walking.Hayden and Rebecca are walking down through the market.
Rebecca is on the left and Hayden is on the right.
They continue to walk till they get a few paces from the start of the steps leading up to the fountain.
Shot 2 -
The shot then changes to a medium-long shot.
This shot is when Hayden and Rebecca walk up the stairs and sit down.
The camera is fixed so it doesn't move.
Shot 3 -
When the actors sit down the shot changes to a medium shot, this is used to show dialogue.
This shot is going to be in place for the first 2 lines of the dialogue.
Shot 4 -
The shot then changes to a medium - close up of Hayden, this lasts for one line and is facing at his face from the right. This is to keep to 180 degree rule.
Shot 5 -
It then changes to another medium - close up of Rebecca coming from the left.
This continues for 5 more shots to create a short dialogue scene.
Shot 10 -
Medium shot From the right of the actors position.
This gets most of there bodies in,
Hayden agrees he needs to go and gets up to run, leaving the shot. Rebecca stands to shout encouragement, the shot stays on rebecca for afew seconds.

Storyboard
What is continuity editing?
To show continuity editing, we used three simple rules of cinematography. These are: the 180 degree rule, match on action and shot/reverse shot.
This is the 180 degree rule, where there is only 180 degrees in which a camera can stay, making it so the characters are always on the same side of the screen. It is most frequently used to show conversation.
Match on action is is the term applied to an action jumping across several cuts. For example, someone is shown opening a door handle from the outside of a room. The shot is then carried over to the opposite side of the door where the action is completed and the man walks through the door. In our video, We changed this to walking round a corner instead of walking through a door.
The final rule we had to use was shot/reverse shot. This is usually used with the 180 degree rule in mid conversation, so it can skip from person to person depending on which person is talking. For our video we found it worked well but the conversation was a bit short on each side, so it was quickly changing shot.

The Script for our opening sequence.
Middle of conversation, both HAYDON and EXTRA BOY are causally strolling through the busy market.
REBECCA: Oh yeah, how did it go with you and ROSA?
HAYDON: She is leaving to stay with her parents.
REBECCA: When?
HAYDON: Today .... Soon.
REBECCA: Why is she going? Is it that bad.
HAYDON: Its the distance, long distance relationships never work ..... we don't get enough time together.
REBECCA: Are you serious? You will regret it if you don't go get her.
HAYDON: I wont get their in time, her train is due (TIME WE ARE SHOOTING)
REBECCA: Theres no harm in trying, if you go now you might catch the train before it leaves.
HAYDON pauses for a second thinking about it.
HAYDON then smiles in realization to REBECCA and starts to run.
REBECCA: go, go run.
REBECCA'S shouts of encouragement can be heard as HAYDON is seen running off. He turns the corner and grabs a bunch of flowers from a market stall and runs off into the distance.
